By: Multi- Sport King Kawasaki disease, also known as Kawasaki syndrome is an immune disease in which the medium-sized blood vessels throughout the body become inflamed. It is largely seen in children under five years of age. It affects many organ systems, mainly those including the blood vessels, skin, mucous membranes, and lymph nodes.The Busey Family Foundation was established in 2012 by actor Gary Busey and wife, Steffanie Busey. The Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds for the awareness, education and research for Kawasaki Disease, and to provide funding for families who are unable to afford proper treatment.
