The July 9th Symposium with Amb. Dermer, Prof. Irwin Cotler Addressing Israel's Right to Self Defense

WASHINGTON - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Media is invited to The July 9th Symposium: 10 Years and Counting on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at The Capitol Visitors Center. Program will begin at 10:00AM with a Moment of Silence in memory of the young boys murdered in Israel. The Symposium will assess 10 years since the unjust Advisory Opinion by The International Court of Justice on the construction of Israel's Terrorism Prevention Security Fence.

Keynote remarks will be delivered by Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer; with special presentations by Professor Irwin Cotler -- Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Frederick M. Lawrence -- President, Brandeis University, William C. Daroff -- Senior Vice President, Jewish Federations of North America, Kenneth L. Marcus -- President and General Counsel, Louis D. Brandeis Center, Sarah Stern -- President, EMET, and David Michaels -- Director, B'nai B'rith International Office of UN Affairs.
