Mr. Tarun Shienh turns mentor for Interior design students at JD Institute of Fashion Technology

DELHI/NCR, India - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- JD Institute of Fashion Technology officially appointed Mr. Tarun Shienh, CMD Premia Group as the “Mentor” for the students of interior design at Eros International Continental recently. The event witnessed the association of two eminent personalities, Mr. Tarun Shienh, a renowned name in the field of real estate, and Mr. RC Dalal, a pioneer in the field of design education.

Mr. Tarun Shienh is the CMD of the “Premia Group”. He has established himself as a leading entrepreneur in India in sectors of real estate, health care, energy, hospitality, infrastructure, construction etc. He has been honoured as “The real estate guru” by Builders Council of India, PHD chamber of commerce, Journalist association of India and Press Club of India.

After several successful business ventures in various sectors, Mr. Shienh has now decided to enter into the field of education through a collaboration with JD Institute of Fashion Technology. His vast experience and rich expertise in various fields would add great value to the JD Institute. He would be actively involved in the academics and work closely with the JDians for their Annual Design Awards.

‘The economic boom in India has created a large middle class and accelerated the process of urbanization. The real estate market as well as the industries associated with interior design have benefitted from this trend. The Interior Design sector in India is growing at a CAGR of 5-7%. Jobs in Interior Design are expected to grow at the rate of 19 percent per year till 2018, faster than the average growth predictions for any other occupation. This has created immense opportunities and scope for a career in interior design.

“I am very enthusiastic about our association with JD Institute. My aim is to enhance knowledge about the industry, design, layout, material selection, market intelligence etc.’, said Mr. Tarun Shienh.
