New Development Company Breaks Ground in Sarasota County

SARASOTA, Fla. - June 26, 2014 - PRLog -- SARASOTA, Florida – June 26, 2014– Thanks to a brilliant business plan based on affinity agreements between Omega Communities, LLC and select local churches, Sarasota County is the future home of two assisted living and memory care campuses. Omega Communities works with qualified investors in the development, financing and operation of premier senior living communities built on land leased through partnerships with faith-based organizations; in turn, the organization receives a percentage of the profits. This unique relationship is creating an opportunity for the partnering organizations to convert some of their underutilized land into a much needed resource for the people they serve as well as the surrounding markets. According to a report prepared by Economic Policy Resources, the total economic impact on Sarasota County is estimated to be in excess of $30 million, per year, once both facilities are completed. The development of The Fountains of Hope will create 150 – 200 jobs for the Sarasota area during the construction phase. The completed facility will then require a staff of over 100 full time employees. The Fountains of Hope in Sarasota will be a newly constructed 90,000 square foot assisted living and memory care community offering 106 residences on a 10-acre parcel on the campus of the Church of Hope.
