MTM LinguaSoft Awarded State Contract

PHILADELPHIA - July 11, 2014 - PRLog -- MTM LinguaSoft (http://www.mtmlinguasoft.com) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania positioning it to provide language translation and authentication work for all Commonwealth agencies.

Previously, separate, single contracts for translation, authentication, and interpretation have been awarded to large language service companies. This year, as part of an effort to encourage small businesses in the Commonwealth, the Commonwealth issued an invitation to bid that was open only to small language companies. In the language industry, a company is classified as small if it has less than $7 million in annual revenue. Multiple awards were made to those companies whose submissions were judged to be responsive and responsible bidders.

This puts MTM LinguaSoft in a good position to garner a portion of the Commonwealth’s translation spending, which has been continually increasing along with the need and demand for translation, especially in areas touching on social welfare and healthcare.
