Ideal Boilers - Training bulletin

HULL, U.K. - June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Ideal Boilers has welcomed a new member to its training team. Colin Daly, who is based in Gateshead and joins the team as Technical Training Manager, will manage the northern ‘territory’ covering from Birmingham to Scotland.

A Gas Safe Registered engineer himself, Colin has extensive experience in the industry having previously worked for British Gas, Npower and Worcester Bosch.

Colin has previous training experience teaching apprentices at British Gas, and during his time at Npower, training electrical engineers. In addition he has gained qualifications in teaching and completed Open University courses in New Technologies, Energy Systems and Sustainability.

Colin says, “I get so much satisfaction from training, especially when I see trainees develop their understanding.”

Colin also gets a huge amount out of the sessions himself, “I find I learn from our ‘students’ all the time. They are hugely experienced installers and engineers themselves, who have often been in the industry a long time. Our training sessions are a great opportunity for them to share their experiences and insights as well as learn.”
