Culver's Celebrates Dairy Month With $1 Scoops of Custard and Gives Back to Farm Families

June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Phoenix, Arizona 6/2/14: Participating Valley Culver’s restaurants have partnered with local Future Farmers of America Chapters as part of a larger, nationwide effort by Culver’s and its guests to thank the family farmers on which the restaurants depend.

On Saturday, June 14 participating Culver’s restaurants* will celebrate Dairy Month by offering $1 Single Scoops of Fresh Frozen Custard to benefit local FFA Chapters.

The second year of the Thank You, Farmers partnership launches in June in participating restaurants across the U.S. and will help spread awareness and generate support for the nation’s hardworking farmers.

"Culver’s restaurants as a whole have depended on family farms since the first restaurant opened in 1984," says Culver’s of Mesa owner, Carissa Rose. "We want to show our gratitude by helping support the next generation of farmers."

The FFA helps this next generation meet the challenges of feeding a growing population by encouraging members to develop their own unique talents and explore their agricultural interests in a broad range of career pathways -- from future farmers to biologists to veterinarians.
