Sunday,  June 1, 1:30-2:30p.m.

This interactive discussion will cover nutrition essentials that everyone needs to know to live a healthy life. We will specifically focus on creating an eating and lifestyle plan for increased energy, healthy weight, balanced mood and stress management. We will also discuss what to do when you are doing everything “right”, and it’s just not working. We will finish with a fun demonstration of muscle testing.

NUTRITION FOR HEALTHY KIDS!

Sunday, June 8, 1:30-2:30p.m.

Did you know that there is a huge connection between what our children eat and their focus, learning ability, behavior, immunity, rashes, ear infections, and more? Today, many children experience food intolerances to common foods such as gluten, wheat, dairy and others. These intolerances present themselves as many varied symptoms in children. Learn how these foods impact children and what to do about it. For the first time in history, children are expected to have shorter life spans than their parents. Nutrition can turn this statistic around. Kids who form healthy eating and nutrition habits at a young age are much more likely to have healthy, disease-free lives as adults.

ASHLEY COWDEN, MSACN

Ashley Cowden will be leading the two workshops described above. Ashley works with a whole food nutrition philosophy. She believes that the body has a limitless capacity for health, healing, and wellness. Ashley loves to incorporate positive affirmations, essential oils, energy work, and exercise into her wellness programs. She loves to work with both adults and children.
