MOMBASA, Kenya - May 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Since the infamous Westgate terrorist attack in Nairobi, Kenya, there have been about 12 other attacks in Kenya. Last week Hundreds of British tourists have been evacuated from Kenya following a travel advisory issued by the United Kingdom government of a possible terror attack.

Propertyzote.com has now revealed that it has been contacted by about 30 hotel owners who want to sell their hotels. To view some of the 30 hotels for sale click link below; www.propertyzote.com/index.html?action=searchresults&property_class[]=4&sub_class[]=4

This all started when a British tourist Judith Tebbutt, 56, was kidnapped by gunmen from a remote Kenyan resort at Kiwayu, north-east of Lamu Island. The gunmen were believed to be Insurgent Islamist group Al – Shabab in 2012. The gang also shot dead her 58-year-old husband, David Tebbutt.
Since then however, Kenya has sent its troops across the border to Somali to fight the Insurgent groups. The effect on tourism has however been detrimental. There have been a slump in hotel bookings and many pre- booked safaris have been cancelled.
