News of the Week: Keith Alexander Opens Cybersecurity Consultancy

May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Keith Alexander has formed a new consultancy group focused on the cybersecurity of financial institutions.

The former director of the National Security Agency's company will be located in Washington D.C., in the offices of Proontory Financial Group.

“After a 40-year career in the military and the government, I am beginning an effort to see what I could do to help address the cybersecurity threats facing the financial services industry, its customers, and their assets,” Alexander said.

“This effort is in its exploratory stages, and I look forward to the work ahead,” Alexander added.

Alexander is also the former director of U.S. Cyber Command, a position he held in conjunction with his NSA role.

He also retired as a four star general and is expected to have a long list of clients due to his connections in government and the military.
