Vistage Michigan Hosts “Experience Vistage” Event for SE Michigan Chief Executives, Apr. 30

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. - April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Vistage Michigan (www.vistagemichigan.com), part of the world’s leading Chief Executive organization, is hosting a special event for prospective members on Wednesday, Apr. 30 at the Southfield Westin located at 1500 Town Center in Southfield.

The event, designed for Chief Executives who lead companies in southeast Michigan, takes place from 7 a.m.-10:30 a.m.  There is no cost to attend, but attendance is limited to chief executives, presidents and business owners.  A complimentary breakfast will be provided.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with some of the organization’s current members and leaders, and get an inside look at what it is like to be a member of this Chief Executive Group.

International management and consulting expert Tom Bouwer is the featured speaker.  In his presentation, “Get a Grip on Your Business: Are You Running Your Business? Or Is It Running You?,” Bouwer will help participants learn to implement a simple way of operating that helps leadership teams clarify, simplify and achieve their vision.  Participants also will:

Take a good, hard look at their own businesses and see them in a whole new light
Explore the six key components of a truly great organization
Learn how to roll up their sleeves and strengthen those components in their businesses

With more than 25 years of international management and consulting experience, Bouwer has helped companies improve their profitability with simple, practical tools. His clients have ranged from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies in such industries as insurance, finance, software, manufacturing and consumer products. Bouwer has a B.A. from Hope College and M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
