Advanced Merchant Group to attend Transact 14

LAS VEGAS - April 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Advanced Merchant Group (AMG) will be attending the Electronic Transaction Association’s annual TRANSACT 14 convention. The convention is being held from April 8 through April 10 and is an extremely popular venue for the transaction industry to showcase new technology and payments products.

AMG President Kevin Wiener is looking forward to the convention. “The transaction and payments industry changes drastically at a rapid pace and staying up to date on the latest trends and technologies is paramount to our company. We need to ensure that AMG and its salespeople are aware of the major, imminent changes in the industry,” says Wiener.

Wiener is also excited to see industry-wide reactions to EMV. EMV, short for Europay, MasterCard, and Visa, is the authenticating technology in integrated circuit cards present in credit and debit cards. The majority of major companies involved in the transactions industry are implementing a liability shift in October 2015, a move which creates new challenges as well as exciting opportunities.

AMG also hopes to build and expand on current business relationships while at ETA. “It’s important to let our clients know that we’re dedicated to staying relevant in an incredibly dynamic, competitive field,” Wiener says.
