Cameroon Professional Society Announces Partnership with Harambe Cameroun

The Cameroon Professional Society (CPS) is proud to announce her partnership with Harambe Cameroun (Harambe). Harambe will work with the CPS to administer the CPS Scholarship in Cameroon and the CPS-HARAMBE Innovation Prize
SILVER SPRING, Md. - April 1, 2014 - PRLog -- The CPS Scholarship in Cameroon is an extension of the CPS Scholars program currently being implemented in the USA. The CPS Scholarship in Cameroon will involve disbursements of $200.00 each to meriting students currently pursuing a first degree (Associates, BTS, HND, and Bachelor) in a Cameroonian University recognized by the Cameroonian Ministry of Higher Education.

The CPS-HARAMBE Innovation Prize is issued as part of the HARAMBE’s annual social entrepreneurship competition that takes place in Cameroon. As part of this prize, the CPS will disburse $500.00 to the winning entrepreneur, as well as link them with an entrepreneur (mentor) in the USA.

HARAMBE CAMEROUN (“HARAMBE”) is a nonprofit organization registered in Cameroon with the legal ID :  N°001829/ADR/JO6/APPA, whose aim is to inspire and engage a new generation of young leaders and entrepreneurs who see problems as opportunities in need of solutions, and have the poise and wherewithal to engage others to make long-lasting socio-economic impact.

The Cameroon Professional Society, Inc. (“CPS”) is a US-based non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization registered in Maryland whose goal is to nurture a robust network of Cameroonian professionals from all segments of the society to share ideas, elevate and empower each other as well as nurture a new generation of effective leaders.
