UME Software launches RU Prepared? ICD-10 Edition
RU Prepared? ICD-10 Edition is a fun, fast paced game focused on the upcoming October 1st, 2014 required conversion from ICD-9 to ICD-10 codes for Hospitals, Providers and HIM Professionals in the United States. Re-playability is high as players try to beat their own high score and share it with friends through social media on Facebook and Twitter.
“This game is dedicated to the hard working HIM professionals who are tasked with bringing the United States Healthcare System up to speed with the rest of the world using ICD-10.” said David Schieffer, CEO of UME Software. “This is the first application in the RU Ready series. Our next application, RU Prepared? Privacy & Security, is targeted to be released in Q2 2014.”
UMe Software is also finalizing plans to launch a new solution targeted for hospitals and clinics. Protected Health Information Incident and Tracking Solution (PHIITS), is a comprehensive suite of services, software and tools for PHI Incident prevention, identification, mitigation, and reporting. In the event a PHI Incident is determined to be a PHI Breach, PHIITS can make it easier to track and report to the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), mitigating fines and penalties.
PHIITS is scheduled for release in Q2 2014.
