MEC’s Kerry Heid Honored as Man of Influence

REGINA, Saskatchewan - March 25, 2014 - PRLog -- REGINA–   Kerry Heid, a founder and president of Regina-based Magna Electric Corporation, has been honored as one of Saskatchewan’s Most Influential Men in this month’s Saskatchewan Business Magazine.

“This year’s group of influencers not only exhibits the capacity to sway opinion or trajectories, they find themselves at the heart of the ‘big’ picture issues weighing on Saskatchewan these days,” wrote Paul Martin, reporter for Saskatchewan Business Magazine.

Heid has led MEC to a place of prominence in the energy industry working closely with the utility crowns and industry leaders throughout the country. The company has formed strong alliances including a long-term working partnership with Texas-based Shermco Industries who recently acquired MEC to form the largest electrical testing and maintenance company in North America.
