Kurukshetra University B.Ed Course Eligibility for 2014-15 session

Candidates who have successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum score of 50 percent are eligible to apply for one year B.Ed course from Kurukshetra University for the academic session 2014-15 .

The Kurukshetra University B.Ed Eligibility 2014-15 criteria for the regular B.Ed course is a bachelor or master’s degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate;  the minimum marks required in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates is 45%.

Candidates must note that, as per an amendment published in the Gazette of India on 26 July 2010, the requirement of 50% marks does not apply to persons appointed as teachers prior to the commencement of the National Council for Teacher Education (Regulations Norms and Procedure) Second Amendment Regulations, 2010.

For candidates interested in applying for B.Ed (2 year) course through distance learning, Kurukshetra University B.Ed Eligibility 2014-15 criteria requires them to hold an additional experience in teaching.

Kurukshetra University also clearly states that it will not consider rounding off percentage of marks for determining the eligibility for admission to B.Ed. course.

Admission to the B.Ed course is granted on the basis of merit and as per the Haryana Government reservation policy.
