RemOpt launches Geolocation Based Optimization services

BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil - March 20, 2014 - PRLog -- RemOpt launches today a package of innovative RAN optimization services based on customers geolocation.

With capability to process, analyze and geolocate call traces from 3G networks we offer now a suite of geolocation based optimization services.

Coverage optimisation will use NetGeo true coverage pattern analysis to detect and fix:

·       overshooting cells
·       sites with cross-feeder problem
·       sectors with misaligned coverage pattern
·       areas of poor coverage

Neighbour list optimisation will use RemOpt’s ANR algorithms and NetGeo true coverage pattern analysis tooptimise intra- and inter-frequency neighbour lists

Performance optimisation will use NetGeo event detection and geolocation module to specify precisely and resolve areas of poor network performance such as poor call setup,  high call failure, low HSPA troughputs, etc.

Capacity optimisation is short way to higher call setup success rate, higher data rates, more traffic and thus more income. NetGeo throughput and call density precise spatial analysis will be one of the mulitple inputs for optimisation.

Intelligent rollout support will identify areas of poor coverage, high traffic density, or performance problems. With various filters such as traffic type (voice or data) or terminal type (e.g. LTE enabled smartphones) possible locations  for new sites will be identified. RemOpt may precisely suggest locations for new sites, indoor solutions, wifi offload and LTE rollout. Precise information on which solution to implement in which locations and in which order will guarantee faster return on investment.
