Wag Wagon's Joe Boxer for Mayor!

March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Paw-litics has gone to the dogs...lierally! The “canine-didates” for Portland 's dog mayor in the “My Dog Dog for Mayor” contest were announced Thursday! Joe E. Boxer is proud to have been selected as a candidate for Portland! Joe works tirelessly to keep the beaches here in Maine safe and clean for everyone to use!

Tammi Searle, owner of Wag Wagon Pet Services and mom to Joe E. Boxer hopes you'll take a moment to vote in this fun contest and wishes all the candidates nationally the best of luck in their Mayoral campaigns!

The “My Dog for Mayor!” contest is a national campaign sponsored by DOGTV to elect 100 dog mayors in 100 cities across the U.S.

The competition was certainly rough, or ruff, this year, but the candidates were selected based on their adorableness and ambition.

The top Portland contenders are Joe E. Boxer, Daisy Mae and Gretel. You can vote for Portland's dog mayor on DOGTV’s Facebook page.

Voting will take place from now until March 20 and the winner will be announced on March 25.
