"Goddess On The Go" Event Returns to Detroit on March 9

DETROIT - Feb. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Goddess On The Go is coming back to Detroit on March 9th for a full day of deep healing workshops at the Atheneum Hotel. Over one hundred women are expected to connect through the roof self-love and explore and connect with their divine beauty. Founded by Detroit-native Leora Edut, Goddess On The Go workshops bring women together to reconnect to their pure and perfect pleasure, spice up their sensual sides, and bask in the power of sisterhood.

Led by an accomplished group of top-notch experts on wellness, spirituality, and beauty, participants will dive into all that’s divine about being a woman.

Kirra Sherman, truth coach, writer, and speaker comes to Goddess on the Go to share tools about how to be in your power, own your truth, and live in alignment with your heart while also being true to a romantic partner or in other types of relationships. Kirra will guide attendees through a deep meditation where they will experience freedom from blockages. Through a heart-opening exercise, Kirra reminds women who they are beyond their mind and how to create a space that they love and connects with the wisdom to live in your power.

Author and speaker Brendy Perryman will lead Goddess on the Go attendees through a heart opening spoken word that will fill their souls up and reconnect to our authenticity. A motivational speaker, Brenda serves as a spirit expert and “Inspirationalist” for Proctor & Gamble’s nationwide “Total You” tour. She was also featured poet for the Chrysler Corporation’s nationwide “Spirit in the Words” poetry program. The author of 4 books of poetry, she has written and performed for such entertainers as Sidney Poitier and Maya Angelou.

Dating expert Trenia Parham is going to share tips on how to get unstuck in your love life, speak up for yourself in relationships and get what you want. This workshop is a fun, interactive deep dive into what holds you back from speaking up for yourself in relationships. Attendees will leave the day feeling energized, refreshed, and ready to take dating, relationships, and love to a whole new level! Trenia is a Love Coach, speaker and author of The Curvy Girl’s Guide to Dating. She has traveled all over the globe and spent the early part of her career working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Ms. Parham is the CEO of Love, Trenia LLC, has a Master of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University and is a former adjunct lecturer for the City University of New York (CUNY).

Becky Siden teaches at Citizen Yoga in Michigan and Yogamedics, and has a license in clinical social work (LMSW) with training and experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship struggles, stress management, mindfulness techniques, depression, empowerment, helping people find their spark, self-acceptance, family and children work, discovering the power of shame and how to work with it. Becky Siden is the creator of Groove, an inspiring class infused with yoga, high intensity dance, and lots of playfulness to help us feel free. Groove will help Goddess On the Go attendees open up their feminine energy so we can embrace our inner 5 year-old. Siden's intention is for women to feel empowered, connected, loved, and inspired from the practice.

A portion of all Goddess On The Go proceeds goes to support Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS), an organization designed to serve girls and young women who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking.
