 Bright Challenge 2014 - a Competition for Professional Project ManagersSecond Edition of the Bright Challenge is more than a business game, it is professional training for project managers in a competitive and realistic environment. right challenge gathers teams from various organizations, both private and public, from all business sectors, in a project management competition using the most renown simulator SimulTrain®. The event is organized by Bright Partners, STS SA, Portuguese PMI Chapter, and IPMA Portugal.
This adrenaline-driven competition allows project managers to reinforce their project management skills and to become more mature in terms of decision taking during a project. This event is a great opportunity to expand the professional network and to enhance team work skills. For the first time, the teams had to work through a 1-hour PM Teamwork case study on corporate strategy development, before the simulation. Also new this year was the opportunity for the teams to win titles by category: Strategy Planning Cost Management Deadline Management Quality Management Team Motivation Management Risk Management The global winner, a team from the Portuguese Navy received the title of "the brightest project manager 2014" and chose, as their trophy, 4 entries to the PMI® EMEA Global Congress in Dubai. The organizer of this very successful event, Bright Partners, is already working on the expansion of this 1-day competition to in-house events for large companies and corporate universities.
