By: Real Time Logic In addition to releasing Mako Server C code, BarracudaDrive's C source code is released as a plugin for Mako Server. BarracudaDrive is a personal cloud server solution letting anyone set up and operate their own secure file-sharing site. Releasing BarracudaDrive source code enables developers and technical users to compile the source code for many specialised embedded Linux platforms such as OpenWrt, dd-wrt, CuBox, and so on. Mako Server’s comprehensive library, based on Real Time Logic’s flagship product Barracuda Application Server, integrates and streamlines all resources needed for a very fast and compact web application server for embedded devices. In addition to the Lua Server Pages and virtual machine, the Barracuda Application Server library includes REST, AJAX, SOAP, JSON, and XML services; an SMTP client; both client and server SSL/TLS security, including the latest perfect forward secrecy key-agreement protocols; client HTTPS; the WebDAV file exchange protocol, and a Linux process management API. An SQL database is also integrated into Mako Server. All components have been optimized for robust, high-speed information exchange, even on resource constrained embedded Linux devices. Availability: The Mako Server source code and the BarracudaDrive source code plugin are available at SourceForge. For more information about Mako Server source code, visit: http://makoserver.net/ End
