Love and Wine - The Perfect Valentine's Date Night

CARY, N.C. - Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- The Matthews House, located in historic downtown Cary, is partnering with Sip…A Wine Store to host a Valentine’s Wine Dinner on Saturday, February 15. The dinner will consist of six food courses with wine pairings and dancing.

This dinner is all about winery love stories. April Schlanger, owner of Sip, will tell the stories behind the wines served. Guests will learn how winemakers met and fell in love, how family and friends play an important role in their lives, and how they choose to share love with others.

Guests will enjoy six wines, each served with a carefully selected food pairing. The full menu can be viewed at www.matthewshousecary.com/blog/love-wine-dinner. Stevan Jackson will provide a musical interlude between each pairing. After the dinner, there will be a DJ and dancing.

The Matthews House, originally built in 1915, is a 3500 square foot event venue. The venue offers spacious reception areas, a fully equipped boardroom, and a large dining area. Adjacent to the home is a ballroom that will accommodate up to 200 guests. The Matthews House has an extensive commercial kitchen and provides offsite and onsite catering.
