Castlegem launching second Wave for the New York PoP & expanding Chicago Presence

Feb. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- We are happy to announce the expansion of our New York PoP, opening up for the public.

The Telehouse Chelsea PoP features Virtual Private Server (VPS) services and dedicated servers of the latest Intel E3 (V3) and E5 (V2) architecture, combined with unparalleled network topology and ultra low latency to the financial exchange, plus amazing throughput and speeds all across the country as well as to overseas destinations: we can offer sub-70ms latencies between London and New York, as well as latencies of mid

80s to mid 90s from New York to continental Europe.

In addition to New York, we are also upgrading our Chicago presence. With more and more traders flocking in, we decided to smoothly migrate our current PoP over to THEData Centre in Chicago: 350 E Cermak Road. This will give us even lower latency to the Commodity and Stock Exchanges as well as a considerable upgrade in terms of network capacity. Until the end of April, we will be running both PoPs alongside each other. From May onwards, only the new one at Cermak will remain.
