While our young African-American girls are struggling with issues of low self-esteem; several media outlets continue to support misperceptions and contradictions about our youth. Imagine a future where every African-American girl believes her color is beautiful. Our mission at Polish Magazine is to make a difference in the lives of these girls and to change the images that are being presented and the lack thereof.

Like nail polish our girls come in different beautiful colors. It is our goal to celebrate, honor, and love all the extraordinary hues in our rainbow! Polish Magazine helps polish black girl’s self-esteem, develop their leadership and communication skills, and assist with building respect for themselves and others. Our publication encourages these young ladies to discover their special inner qualities. We exemplify what is appealing, unique, and magnificent about young African-American girls.
