Peek into the World of Las Vegas Publishing with Guy Dawson and Editor-in-Chief, Debbie Hall.

Las Vegas, NV (January13^th, 2013) – PR Connections radio is excited to announce this week’s guest Debbie Hall.  Hall is an accomplished Editor with an extensive background in journalism and business.  Her expertise and knowledge will give listeners a true insight into the world of publishing and developing successful media businesses.  Hall will be a guest on Wed January 15^th at 1:00pm on KLAV 1230AM or klav1230am.com.

Hall is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Las Vegas Woman Magazine, a Managing Partner of the Informer Media Group, and just this year was hired on as Editor for Sunseeker, the Allegiant Airlines Magazine, as well as the Content/Continuity Editor for Las Vegas Man Magazine, which will be making its debut March 5^th, 2014.

Hall is clearly a busy woman, but she never loses sight of why she loves doing what she does, “I love being an Editor,” said Hall.  “It gives me an opportunity to guide writers, communicate different ideas and still express myself.”

When asked what was the best advice she was ever given about business, Hall answered, “Make friends with the receptionist and assistants.  They truly know what is going on and can really guide you.”  The other piece of advice she was given was, “follow through, follow through, follow through.”

Hall is looking forward to being a guest on PR Connections, as a previous staff member of KLAV 1230AM visiting Dawson will be a nice homecoming.  “I am looking forward to spending time with Guy Dawson and his audience,” said Hall.  “I actually teach courses for the Public Relations Certification program at UNLV and PR Connections is very important for business.  My class is teaching people how to approach media such as myself to write or broadcast about their story.”

Hall has been a Las Vegas resident for 35 years and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Journalism.  She also earned a Masters in Communication from the University of Arizona, Sedona.  Hall’s background in journalism is extensive and includes working as a Station Manager at TV 35, writing for publications such as I Love Las Vegas Magazine and Las Vegas Review Journal.
