AIFD to Educate and Design at The 2014 Chicago Flower and Garden Show

Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Members of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) will be exhibiting their floral art talents at the 2014 Chicago Flower and Garden Show. Twelve certified designers will interpret the show theme "Do Green Do Good" by incorporating recycled materials into their floral focused displays. Last year's floral art gallery drew admirers from across the country.

In addition to the gallery Philadelphia power duo Bill Schaffer AIFD, CFD, PFCI and Kristine Kratt AIFD, CFD, PFCI will be gracing the stage with their educational seminar "Taking the Flower Show Home" inspired by their 2013 publication. These charasmatic veteran flower show exhibitors are sure to inspire with insightful techniques.

Attending the Chicago Flower and Garden Show is a tradition for many, dating back to its inaugural year in 1847. The show is not just a welcome escape from the long Chicago winter but an educational and inspirational experience for showgoers of all ages.
