Author Andrew S. Bloom grew up in Plainview, New York, and after graduating from Adelphi University in 1992, found himself moving to the sunshine state of Florida. Mr. Bloom has suffered three brainstem bleeds and has also undergone brain surgery in an attempt to correct an underlying problem. Yet, through the immensity of his trials, he has maintained a positive and encouraging attitude. Currently, he resides in West Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife, Caroline, their children, Ryan and Samantha, and their dog Oreo.
