EMF Sensor Correlates Wi-Fi Exposure to Adverse Health Risks Launches Indiegogo Crowd Funder

OAKVILLE, Ontario - Dec. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Dec. 30, 2013 – Toronto, Canada, December 29, 2013 – It’s invisible, human senses can’t detect it and leading international researchers, scientists, physicians and even the World Health Organization are concerned that even low-level exposure to electromagnetic radiation (EMFs) can have negative consequences to human health.

EMF Sensor Technologies (http://www.emfsensortech.com/) has developed a patent-pending, highly accurate, low-cost EMF Sensor (Enerscope™) that detects and measures EMFs and correlates the reading to the research findings of BioInitiative Report of 2012 (http://www.bioinitiative.org/report/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/section_1_table_1_2012.pdf). The BioInitiative 2012 Working Group report is the result of thousands of independent research reports from around the world. It concludes that adverse human health consequences can result from both short and long term exposure to low levels of EMFs we are all currently experiencing. The report further concludes that the bioeffects of EMFs are clearly established and are cumulative. In other words, the longer the exposure to EMF, the greater the potential for bioeffects (adverse health consequences such as damage to sperm, damage to DNA, children are more vulnerable to low levels of RF and correlation to child behavior and increased risk of autism spectrum disorders, fetal and neonatal effects from EMF, elevation of risk for brain cancers, childhood cancers (leukemia) and more).

“Most people have heard of ‘the hazards’ of cell phone and cell tower radiation, but can’t relate to it“, says Ronald Content, President of EMF Sensor Technologies. “Enerscope™ puts the documented research reality of low exposure levels right in front of the user’s eyes” by using a bar scale  that correlates to most of the health consequences identified in the BioInitiative 2012 report. Enerscope™ uses a colour scale of green, yellow and red – just like traffic lights – to show the user exactly where they are positioned on the overall scale of documented health effects. Then, at a push of a button, Enerscope™ provides a precise reading that enables the user to see which adverse health effects have been correlated up to and including that exposure level.

The website also contains information and links to protective and precautionary measures that can be taken to minimize or eliminate the health threat of non-ionizing radiation.

The Indiegogo campaign (http://igg.me/at/enerscope/x/5916064) target to raise $87,500 US will cover the start-up capital costs to manufacture in Canada the Enerscope™ device, which incorporates both ELF (detects and informs for both 50 and 60 Hz electricity systems) and RF sensor capabilities that can cost several hundred dollars each if purchased at equivalent accuracy.  Pledges of $80 or more will receive an Enerscope™ within 60 days of the end of the campaign provided the required funding is raised.

About the Inventor

Enerscope™ was developed by Gerry Briggs, who until earlier in 2013 was responsible for mapping Canada’s entire EMF spectrum and is an expert in the science of EMF measurement.

“With my experience in mapping RF for an entire country, I’ve probably used every high-end measurement device out there, and you need to be a technician to understand them”, says Gerry Briggs, Chief Technology Officer for EMF Sensor Technologies. “I wanted to develop a low cost but highly accurate meter that allows the non-technical person to immediately understand how their health can be affected based on their personal exposure levels”.
