Wizards of Wiki rebranding completed in time for 2014
By: Wizards of Wiki
The website has had a major facelift, ready for ongoing development work planned throughout 2014. This website facelift came after the company announced plans to revise the website and make it more user friendly and completely rewrite the content. Mark Bray who created the brand stated in a short interview that he was pleased with the development. Bray stated “The website needed a major overhaul, we weren’t happy with the website or the fact our clients had to use it. It was quite difficult to navigate and wasn’t the most attractive site to look at. With help from our design team, we’ve improved the brand making it much friendlier and easier for the clients to navigate”.
The website colouring has changed from a light blue, to the use of a royal blue with gold also used sparingly. Bray stated he wanted the website to look inviting, but also smart and sophisticated. He believes this has been achieved with the brands new colour scheme and branding.
The logo has also undergone some major changes. While using a similar theme to the original logo, the designers have again focused on an elegant approach.
The rebranding was seen as an essential step forward, to ensure the credibility of the company moved forward with its current level of growth. The head of design project gave further insights stating, “While the brand looked smart, it didn’t reflect the fact Wizards of Wiki are a major player in their industry. It deserved a design that replicated where the company currently is in the market. Mark identified that some had underestimated what they had achieved in their short time in the market, due to the old design and the lack of information on the site.”
Bray who founded the brand 2011 said he was finally happy with the website. “Its nice to finally have a brand that represents where we are currently. With the developments we have planned for 2014, it’s a very exciting time. The company’s online presence has been improving throughout 2013 and we hope that will continue. The new design in my opinion is the first piece of the jigsaw, that will really see the company develop over the next year.”
