Film-maker Denies Allegations That He Received Information From Intelligence Sources

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Independent film-maker of the upcoming Zero Dark Dirty due to be released nationwide in spring of 2014 is officially denying any allegations that claim he received any top secret intelligence information from any official sources.

“While the film draws on many parallels with real life events and may have relevant commentary on what the public doesn’t know, there were no official or top secret sources that contributed to any of the story that is told in the film,” said Lex Lvovsky, Co-director and star of Zero Dark Dirty.

Recent revelations that former CIA Director Leon Panetta had leaked top secret information to Mark Boal and the creative team behind last year’s Oscar nominated Zero Dark Thirty have incited a press buzz surrounding Lex Lvovsky’s Zero Dark Dirty which has so far only been released in Scandinavia and Russia in 2013.  The raid that reportedly killed Osama bin Laden is the subject of both films, but treated very differently in each film.

“I suspect that in many cases people are simply confusing the two titles – but that really was our whole plan.  It’s part of our sense of humor and the point of our film,” said the film’s producer Cristiana DiPietro.
