Creative Works Designs Interactive Cosmic Golf and Laser Tag Arenas
Dec. 16, 2013
-- All Star Bowling & Entertainment recently received a huge renovation by Creative Works (http://www.theWOWeffect.com)
to multiple All Star locations in Utah. The All Star Draper location, a former Planet Play, now exhibits an over 4,000 square foot Destroyed Battle laser tag arena (http://www.lasertagworld.com)
and an over 2,900 square foot custom black light mini golf course, "The Backlot 9" (http://www.cosmicgolf.com)
. Creative Works also revisited All Star's Tooele location to do custom enhanced paintwork on the Space Quest laser tag arena first designed by Creative Works in 2009.
Over the years, Creative Works has added attractions to multiple All Star Bowling & Entertainment including a Lazer Frenzy laser maze and multiple laser tag arenas. "Renovations are a key component to improve competitiveness and revitalize the image of an entertainment center," commented Jeff Schilling, President of Creative Works. "Brad Shepherd, owner of All Star Bowling & Entertainment, has done a great job keeping his facilities fresh and attractive to bring in new customers."
Players coming to All Star Draper's new laser tag arena will be amazed by the realistic battle field experience. Once fitted with laser tag equipment by Laserforce, players enter into a city complex devastated by war and left as a battered shell of brick and steel. Piles of rubble outcroppings provide cover from enemy sight and shelter from the elements. Cranes and abandoned satellite radars tower overhead as players coordinate with their teams to end the war and save the city.
All Star Draper's "Backlot 9" cosmic mini golf course takes players on set with all the exciting twists and turns of Hollywood's backstage. Players start deep into the heart of a wild jungle. Little do they know that this is not an ordinary safari as they are suddenly face to face with carnivorous dinosaurs. Players are then engulfed by another Hollywood stage set with underwater ruins and large sea creatures. Lastly guests are encouraged to 'make the cut' when encountering ancient royalty and wizardry and fight to keep from a fiery end with a large dragon at the ninth hole.
This year Creative Works also did a two day training series for the All Star staff, management, and operations team. "Purchasing a training package is a great way to prepare staff for opening day and beyond. Employees are not only trained on operations for any laser tag arena, but they are also coached on first customer interactions, guest service, parties and more to ensure that the facility is run smoothly," commented Schilling.
All Star Bowling & Entertainment has four Utah locations in Draper, Sandy, Tooele, and West Jordan. All Star Fun Centers offer full range arcades, bowling lanes, bumper cars, cosmic bowling, mini bowling, a climbing wall attraction, Lazer Frenzy laser maze, and Laser Tag. The All Star Sports Grill brews some of the best micro beer in Utah and is a perfect place to enjoy great food while watching a game.
