Siglent Launched New Economy Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator SDG800

Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- SIGLENT launched a New Economy Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator SDG800 series lately. Combining with SDG5000, SDG1000, Siglent initialized a complete product line of waveform generator under 200MHz.

As a cost-down version of SDG1000, SDG800 inherits main features from SDG1000, inserting EasyPulse tech from SDG5000, and can be widely applied in electronic function test, environmental signal analog, researching and education.

DDS Tech
Advanced DDS tech is applied to SDG800 series, which makes the SDG800 a simple structure, small size, much more stable and accurate. In the aspects of flexibility between frequencies, Phase continuity and waveform variety, Noise and Harmonic, SDG800 is much superior to analog signal source.

Variable Input and Output
SDG800 series can output TTL signal with the same frequency when output a waveform. By the means of input external triggering signal, SDG800 can control the output of waveform. Also SDG800 can support output of AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PWM, pulse string, Linear output/logarithmic frequency sweep.

Arbitrary Waveform Output
SDG800 is equipped with a powerful Easywave editing software, with a variety of draw modes, synchronously wave editing function, variable wave processing functions, and waves of ASCII .CSV files identification. Easywave software can recur waves captured from Siglent oscilloscope and send to signal source for outputting, realizing the data sharing between oscilloscope and signal generator.

EasyPulse Tech
EasyPulse tech is an algorithm of pulse generation innovated by Siglent. Based on this new tech, SDG800 can generate pulse of low jitter, quick rising/falling edge regardless of frequency effect, while the duty cycle, edge and pulse width could be widely and accurately adjusted. The built-in EasyPulse tech makes SDG800 a professional pulse signal generator.
