In addition, he is responsible for enhancing water sector security and preparedness capabilities by supporting the development of AWWA standards and initiatives, including the Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network (NationalWARN.org) The American Water Works Association is the largest nonprofit, scientific and educational association dedicated to managing and treating water, the world’s most important resource. Jacques Brados – Water Services Technology Manager at City of Glendale, Arizona Jacques Brados serves as Water Services Technology Manager for the City of Glendale, Arizona where he is primarily responsible for all aspects of the SCADA systems for three drinking water treatment plants, two water reclamation plants and distribution systems that provide safe drinking water to over 220,000 citizens. In addition to the SCADA systems, he oversees many other aspects of the department’s technology including: automatic meter reading and billing; GIS integration with several departments; The City of Glendale, Arizona is located 9 miles northwest of Phoenix and is home to over 226,000 people.
