Darrell Arthur, Safeway Inc & Denver Rescue Mission

DALLAS - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX native and Denver Nuggets center Darrell Arthur has teamed up with Safeway, Inc. to provide turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner to families in the Denver area.  Darrell will serve food at the residential community, The Crossing, of the Denver Rescue Mission on Thanksgiving Day.

Safeway, Inc. delivered over 200 turkeys to the Denver Rescue Mission on behalf of Darrell on Friday, November 22, 2013.  The Denver Rescue Mission in-turn distributed the donated turkeys to Denver’s families in-need on Saturday, November 23, 2013.

Darrell will serve food, sign autographs, and take pictures with the residents of the Denver Rescue Mission's residential community, The Crossing, on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Each Thanksgiving, many families go hungry in the United States; Darrell and Safeway, Inc. have partnered with the Denver Rescue Mission to help reduce those whom are less fortunate by providing a meal on this day of Thanksgiving.

Darrell, is very grateful for this opportunity and is extremely excited about his partnering with Safeway Inc. and the Denver Rescue Mission.  He is hoping that he can bring some joy to the families in need.
