Jim Schwarz Joins AbM Engineering

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- AbM Engineering has positioned itself for accelerated growth with the addition of Jim Schwarz, a senior executive with over 35 years of experience in all aspects of business.

Schwarz joins AbM as Vice President, New Market Development.  In this role, he will be responsible for identifying business opportunities for the company, adding processes to streamline operations and cultivating relationships with new and existing customers.  With experience at all levels of operations, including CEO, CFO, and President at manufacturing and consulting firms across a diverse set of industries, Schwarz will provide expert counsel to the AbM team.

Schwarz returns to Daytona Beach/Volusia county from the Joplin, Missouri area, where he recently served as president of Able Manufacturing & Assembly, recognized by the Missouri State Chamber as one of the state’s “Fastest Growing Companies.”  Previously, he was president of the ProDesign division of Coachmen Industries.  While at Coachmen, he was awarded Manager of the Year for 5 out of 8 years.

Jim is well known in the Daytona area, having been a Volusia Manufacturers Association (VMA) co-founder and director and Leadership Daytona Beach co-founder, director and member.  He earned his MBA in Finance and Marketing and Bachelor of Science Industrial Management degrees from the University of Cincinnati and a JD (Law) from Northern Kentucky University.
