An Evening in Iceland – Hosted by TouchofFabulous.com and skyn ICELAND

NEW YORK - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- NEW YORK (November 6, 2013) - Touch of Fabulous is proud to host “An Evening in Iceland” (#IcelandinNYC) on Mon, Nov 18, 2013 at Ana Cristea Gallery in Chelsea. From jewelry modeled on nature’s wonders incorporating elements like lava, leaves and moss to the purity and potency of locally sourced skin care ingredients, Iceland is a harmonious state of mind that serves as an inspiration for luxury and timeless beauty. This unique event brings together a diverse group of Icelandic brands and designers with entrepreneurs who are intrigued by the country’s mysterious natural beauty.

In homage to the exotic country, the gallery space will transport us to Iceland’s majestic landscape with a series of works by photographer Tait Simpson. The event will showcase beauty products from skyn ICELAND, Solutions for Stressed Skin (including the newly launched Fresh Start Mask) to recall the calming influence of the Icelandic wild, unique jewelry and accessories sold on TouchofFabulous.com from the following emerging Icelandic designers, Aurum (jewelry and hair accessories), Henrikka Wagge (jewelry), Garland (accessories), clothing by Spaks, and the newly launched Fragrance Republic, a fragrance club where you discover one of a kind and exclusive perfume creations by world renowned perfumers.  One of the founders is, of course, from Iceland.

“Until a screen can provide scratch and sniff or the tactile experience missing from e-commerce, one of the best ways to experience independent brands is through trunk shows," says Pamela Raley, the host of this event, and founder of newly redesigned Touch of Fabulous, an online luxury artisan marketplace representing unique emerging designers.
