DDFS launched their Facebook page in December 2011, and has garnered a lot of fans in a short time span. India’s largest duty free retailer today boasts of nearly 200,000 global fans. · DDFS became the first duty free operator to have introduced a celebrity columnist (VirSanghvi) The company has been consistently investing efforts and monies into Facebook to connect with the target group and engage them to understand what the customer wants which will eventually help grow the bottom-line. The World Brand Congress honours the world's best brands & marketing efforts at the Global Awards for Brand Excellence and this year Brand excellence award in retail category attracted more than 100 entries from across the world.
