New sales skills video shows how to close the sale every time

Video Arts has today launched a new video-training resource to help improve skills in sales and business development.

Successful Selling’s video content centres on Alex, a salesman who turns to a sales training app to revive his poor performance. However, he gets sucked into the app and comes face-to-face with its presenter Buddy, who recreates Alex’s past selling experiences to show the mistakes he made. Buddy then coaches Alex through a series of customer encounters and helps him to close sales more effectively.

“The video features our ‘wrong way, right way’ learning approach, in which we see someone making common mistakes, that many people will be able to relate to, and then we see how it should be done,” said Martin Addison. “In theory, anyone could learn the principles of successful selling from a book but actually applying those principles in the real world is something very different.
