Equiom’s ‘Dress Down Fridays’ benefit two Island-based charities

The staff at Equiom have raised £2000.00 from ‘dress down Fridays’ during 2013 and have donated the funds to two local Isle of Man charities.

DOUGLAS, U.K. - Nov. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Crossroads Care and Manx Muscular Dystrophy were presented with cheques of £1000.00 each recently.

Equiom’s Group Managing Director, Sheila Dean commented: “I am extremely proud of the support our staff have shown throughout 2013 to raise funds for these very worthwhile causes and am delighted that the funds raised will be utilised to make a tangible difference in our local Island based community.”

Karen Harris from Crossroads Care commented: “We are delighted to receive funding from Equiom which will be used to help to continue to provide essential support to Carers and people with care needs Island wide.”

Mrs Cannell from Manx Muscular Dystrophy commented: “We are most appreciative of the funds that the Equiom staff have raised and are always grateful for the donations we receive.  The funds will be used to continue to support children, adults and their families who are affected by muscular dystrophy in any way.”
