| ![]() Website builder adds Social MediaReason8 today announced the launch of social media pack for their award winning self-build website service.
By: Reason8 Limited The new social pack is currently free for all existing clients. Two types of buttons have been provided: Share buttons and follow buttons. The Like buttons require no time investment for website owners, especially if they are looking for quick publicity from their active client base, rather than actively engage in the social communities. A number of popular social media services, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linked In and Google+1 have been provided . Users can individually choose which of these they are most interested in using to share their content and can switch each on or off individually. The follow buttons are professionally designed and are presented in a slick consistent box at the foot of each page. The user simply adds the address of their social media page and the system will automatically add a rollover button. The relatively new Google+ service offers a savvy user a few extra tools to help their SEO and Internet connectivity and Reason8 has picked up on these. Those users that already have a Google+ account can enter their address and the Reason8 systems will weave their magic. Firstly the link from the follow button is given a magic touch and signals to the Google spider that the website is built and owned by the Google+ account. It also adjusts the meta tag information (information that you and I don't see - but is there for the search engines ) It confirms that the author of the website content is actually the owner of the Google+ account. What this all means is that clients' websites get a big thumbs up from Google. Their websites race up the search engines and Google even puts a little picture by the sides of each entry in their listings. Nice touch! Overall the technology is simple and slick (as we have come to expect from Reason8) and although long overdue, a welcome addition to its website building technology tools. End
