Aspiring Minds Presents India’s Most Employable Freshers

The AMCAT Toppers Club, launched on 2nd October 2013, is an Aspiring Minds initiative to identify India's most employable candidates hidden in unexplored pockets of the nation. These candidates are selected on basis of AMCAT, India's largest employability test. Every quarter, 500 job-seekers will be identified who show exceptional language, cognitive and domain skills irrespective of their city, state, college or high school grades. These candidates show exemplary caliber for various industry roles in the IT and engineering industry, HR/marketing areas, finance roles and others. Aspiring Minds will present them to corporations to do high-efficiency inclusive hiring.

This is the first quarterly merit list (15th July 2013 - 15th October 2013) with 500 highly employable candidates in different fields from a pool of AMCAT assessed engineers, MBAs and graduates.

The merit list has some interesting revelations. Only 100 AMCAT toppers are from the top rated 10% colleges/institutions from India, while the rest of the 400 belong to lesser known colleges. Also, around 74% of AMCAT toppers are from non-metro cities. In fact, 59% of AMCAT toppers belong to Tier II/III cities. This showcases that majority of talent lies in the Tier – II/III cities and beyond the top 10% of colleges in India. AMCAT toppers come from cities such as Bhopal, Hubli, Karnal, Gajraula, Lucknow amongst many others spread across the country. The toppers club aims to unleash the potential talent that continues to remain hidden by barriers of state, city and college name and make them visible to top companies of the country.

The merit list along with photographs of the candidates is available on the AMCAT website. Companies can filter the talent according to their specific needs from the list. The list will further be sent to over 550 clients and 12000 corporate recipients.. A certificate of merit from AMCAT has also been provided to the candidates, which they can further use with their resume to enhance their chances in independent job search.  AMCAT over the last few years has gained tremendous popularity across engineering, MBA and graduate students helping them get closer to their dream jobs.
