SAN JOSE, Calif. - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Bright Computing, the leading, vendor-independent provider of cluster and cloud management solutions, announced that it has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Red Herring Top 100 Global Award. This nomination carries prestigious recognition in honoring Bright Computing as one of the year’s most-audacious and far-reaching private technology companies from across the globe.

From a candidate pool of over 1000 companies that span more than 40 nations, the finalists selected by the Red Herring editorial team demonstrate the most-innovative technologies and business models. Representing recent competitions for Red Herring Top 100 Asia, Europe and North America awards, finalists are judged on a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics that include, for example, technology innovation, financial performance, growth criterion, management's execution standards, potential globalization of the strategy and market-share improvement.

An unprecedented number of entrepreneurs are jumping ahead of the competition and making a difference. Breakthroughs obsolete each other faster than ever before.
