Follow on Google News | False Arrest Lawyer Files Suit on Behalf of Jaysean NichollsMichael Redenburg, Esq.'s client, Jaysean Nicholls alleges that he was released without seeing a judge following his false arrest.
Allegations Within the Complaint Mr. Nicholls had just finished visiting a friend and was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt, when he observed numerous NYPD officers tackling his friend. Concerned for his friend's safety, Mr. Nicholls inquired of the officers, "What is gioing on?" In response, the NYPD officers proceeded to mace Mr. Nicholls, subsequently tackling and striking him, although Mr. Nicholls was unarmed and had done nothing wrong. Thereafter, Mr. Nicholls was transported to a police precinct for processing. Mr. Nicholls was eventually taken to Central Booking, downtown Brooklyn, where he would have seen a Judge. However, Mr. Nicholls' opportunity to appear before a Judge never came - and he was released out the "back door" of Central Booking. Within his Complaint, Mr. Nicholls claims that he was falsely arrested, denied a fair trial and assaulted, among other causes of action.
