Indie Artist Marcell Russell Is A Finalist For 2013 SoulTracks Readers' Choice Awards

BALTIMORE - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Soul Music and Independent Artist, Marcell Russell is a finalist in the 2013 SoulTracks Readers' Choice Awards.  He is a finalist in two categories: Independent Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.

The readers of SoulTracks, will pick the winners by voting between October 18 - 30, 2013.  To be eligible to vote you must be on the SoulTracks email list.  A personal ballot will be emailed to every person on the SoulTracks list.  All votes must be received by October 30 and the winners will be announced on the SoulTracks international broadcast on Monday, December 9.

About Marcell Russell:

Baltimore native, Marcell Russell continues to distinguish himself as a writer, producer, singer and performer. Having penned over 700 songs in an eight-year period, being nominated for over 20 independent music awards and winning several of those coveted titles is impressive! Marcell has even shared the cover of a European magazine with Alicia Keys and Snoop Dog. Seeing Marcell as a solo artist can take some time getting used to after almost a decade with "The Truth" (his former band) but when you hear his music, you realize he hasn't missed a step.
