The First Cruises Running With Bio-Diesel To Protect Environment on Halong Bay, Vietnam

HANOI, Viet Nam - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Over years, the number of cruises on HalongBay has grown rapidly. In current situation, Victory Star, a five – star luxury cruise under the control of Bai Tho Tourist Transportation Co Ltd, is a pioneer local company using bio-diesel to replace in current diesel with the support of Jica project.

Significant output shows that using bio-diesel instead of a current diesel is one of the effective solutions. It helps to limit CO2 emissions, reduce water pollution, and prevent soil erosion. According to the experts from the National University of Hanoi, if the Victory Star used 5% of bio-diesel (mixed with 95% regular diesel) was able to reduce by 30% the amount of harmful gases discharged into the environment from the use of 100% conventional diesel today.
