Double Feature Drive-In comes to Downtown Markham

MARKHAM, Ontario - Oct. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Greater Toronto Area - Some of the fondest childhood memories are of things you just don’t get to do much anymore; building tree house forts, tobogganing, and going to drive-in theatres.

On Saturday, October 26, Downtown Markham invites the community to relive the fun with a FREE double feature Drive-In. This family friendly community event will begin with an animated screening at 6.45 p.m. and a second feature film following a short intermission. “Downtown Markham is excited to bring the nostalgia of the drive-in theatre to the City of Markham,” says Evelynn Ratcliffe, Retail Marketing Director for Downtown Markham at The Remington Group, “and we look forward to a great turnout.”

The event offers FREE admission, FREE popcorn on arrival, and FREE parking.  Additional popcorn and food truck fare is available for purchase.  For those in the community whom live close by or wish to come by public transit, bring a chair and blanket as a seating area will be available.
