Struggling Artist Creates a Unique Puzzle Book Game, Conceptual Art

A struggling artist with a graduate degree in architecture working as a construction laborer creates a unique puzzle book game that is available through October 20 for a pledge via Kickstarter.

SEATTLE - Oct. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Greetings to all media, my name is Maciek Jozefowicz. I am a struggling, forty-two year old artist and a part-time genius who has a Master of Architecture degree and is currently, temporarily, employed as a construction laborer on a Bainbridge Island project. Yes, a construction laborer with a master's degree. So much for the American dream and the opportunities for a better life that a college education is supposed to offer.

But instead of whining about my situation over beer, in some corner bar Seattle, trying desperately to get "lucky" to try to forget my frustrations with a night's worth of debauchery, I created a unique puzzle game book that your readers (and the children of your readers) might be interested in reading about. It makes a great gift for the upcoming holidays or just a game to entertain yourself with on a nasty Fall weather day (for those who live in areas that have nasty Fall weather days).

The game that I created is called Labyrinthós. Labyrinthós is a lot of things. It is a post-modern coloring book for grown-ups. It is a concepual art piece. It is subversive literature. It is philosophy. It is an ode to the book.

Labyrinthós is a maze puzzle (ho hum?) in the form of a 28-page hardcover book. It can be played by one player like a traditional maze puzzle, it can be played by two players unlike a traditional maze puzzle and it can be played by more than two players using dice like a board game.

Labyrinthós is a Kickstarter project. It is available via a pledge until October 20. So far, in less than three weeks of the campaign, over 200 supporters have pledged over $5,900.
