Albuquerque NM Appliance Repair Firm Will Participate In The 2013 Charity Food Drive

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Sept. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Albuquerque, New Mexico – In 2012, when Ortega's Appliance Service Today, Inc. collected canned food for the food drive, Ortega's collected over 2000 pounds of food for the Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico; all of this food to be redistributed to the local community.

For 2013, Ortega's will once again participate in the food drive. If a customer contributes three or more non-perishable food items, Ortega's will once again provide a $10 discount on the customer's appliance repair bill. Another aspect of the food drive will be ensuring all the donations are delivered to the Roadrunner® Food Bank for weighing, storage and redistribution to those in the community.

The 2013 food drive will once again run from the first of October to the thirty first of October; but hunger is often an all year problem. The Roadrunner® Food Bank of New Mexico schedules events and activities all year long for the community to participate in.
