Find A Dream Honored To Be Part of LA’s San Gennaro Feast

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Beginning tomorrow, September 26, with Prima Notte, hosted by entertainment icons Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Corolla, the 12^th annual Feast of San Gennaro will commence in Los Angeles.  Attending this year’s Feast and hosting a booth to promote awareness of their cause is renowned non-profit organization Find A Dream.

Find A Dream is a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization that reaches out to community children and provides them a healthy channel to find and work towards fulfilling a dream.

Founded in 2010, the organization has prominently expanded on an international level as they have opened up two facilities in the United States, and have participated in various speaking engagements through Europe to spread awareness of the importance of providing children with a healthy outlet to allow them to work towards their goals in life and have a structure to follow.

“We are honored to be part of one of the biggest events in the country,” said Find A Dream founder Rod Ricciardi.  “The San Gennaro Festival is known on an international level, and we are excited to have our champions at our booth, signing autographs and meeting with the public.  We are all about spreading awareness of our mission to impact the lives of children across the world, and the San Gennaro Festival will aid us in making our organization known through Los Angeles.”

Appearing at Find A Dream’s booth are board members and world boxing champions Ray Mercer and Michael Moorer, who will be signing autographs, taking pictures with fans and meeting and greeting with the public.

In addition to the boxing superstars, Find A Dream will be hosting a silent auction with an array of lavish prizes to benefit their cause.

“It’s nice to watch the Feast continue to grow, and we hope it continues like the 87 years in NY,” said Feast President Frankie Competelli of Frankie’s on Melrose.  “It’s a true pleasure to do things for the Italian people and it’s great to raise money because we know it’s going to be a great cause.  This year we are glad to have Find A Dream part of our Feast.”

The San Gennaro Festival will be held September 27-29 in Los Angeles, and Find A Dream’s world champion boxers will be available through the weekend.
