2000 followers on Pinterest and growing.

ST THOMAS, Virgin Islands, U.S. - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Ok I am excited and kind of  humble a bit.  Just a little bit.

Beach Weddings by Deb just hit 2000 followers on Pinterest.   2000 can you believe it?
Never intended to go for a large number of followers, I just like Pinterest.   I like the way we could show St Thomas Weddings, cruise ship destinations and the Virgin Islands. Had a lot of fun putting together boards not only showing beach weddings and receptions but also fun things to do on and around St.Thomas.

I have a board with most of the birds, fish and animals that can be spotted while visiting St Thomas, St John or Water Island.  If you see something missing please let me know.

There is also a board showing  vendors who have day charter businesses, the new zip line with the fantastic view of Megans Bay Beach, para-sailing, 1700 ruins on Hassell island and more.

As much as the boards showing St Thomas have been fun, it was really the wedding photography which was the main reason I have acquired over 2000 followers.

It has been debated over and over that the professionally trained photographer is a dying breed.   On the way out and being replaced by passionate people with a camera,no formal training, new big camera and a website.  Let me tell you I beg to differ, my 2000 followers prove my point.


It was truly the images of excited brides and grooms, flowers, cakes and happy guests that were  repined time and time again.

The images of sunsets, sea, sky and people that the told stories of how their day went either on a catamaran and some secluded beach or right here on St Thomas and one of the local beaches.
